Minor description
Protecting the public's health requires addressing challenges that are influenced as much by individual and social behavior as they are by biology, chemistry, and physics. Biology, the environment, social and political systems, technology, and more intersect to describe the methods of protecting the health and well-being of the population. Students completing a public health minor, will understand how to help society by improving health and preventing disease on a population level.
